The mala is traditionally a tool used to count the number of times a mantra is recited, breaths while meditating, countation, prostrations, or the repetitions of a buddha's name.

Mala's can be made using any bead or gemstone color selection. When placing order please annotate any request for variations of beads/colors.

Traditionally the mala is 108 beads which represents the 108 energy lines connecting and converging to form the heart chakra (one of which is the path to self realization).

We do however offer malas made with 54, 27, or 18 beads.
